It was a great joy that a son of Madhya Pradesh, Kailash Satyarthi was awarded Nobel Peace Prize last year for his work for the rights of children. The prize was shared with Malala of Pakistan who campaigned for the education of children. India is blessed with a young population. It will be a great achievement if all the children our land have an opportunity for quality education. St. Joseph's H.S. School is doing its share by making available this service in the city of Indore. The present issue of the school magazine showcases many facets of this service to the children. I congratulate the staff, students, parents and management for their achievements of the year.

“Draw out the best to give out the best”.
Education plays a vital role in one’s life. Its purpose is to replace an empty mind with
an open one; to help transform an individual to be a better and more responsible citizen. All
the power and progress achieved by human beings can be attributed to education. School is
the place where students can get knowledge, discipline and grow physically, mentally and
spiritually.
Those who approach education for building up life, manifest commitment and responsibility in life. Education helps the students to evaluate facts critically and form their own convictions for life. Our institution helps the students to formulate a vision for themselves and set goals to achieve great things according to their aptitude and capacity. By adopting modern technology in our institution, we are providing the best resources for the students.
“Learning gives creativity, creativity leads to thinking, thinking provides knowledge and knowledge makes you great”. Education may open the door to opportunities, but it is what we do with those opportunities that determines our success in life. It is said, knowledge is a cure for all evils. I am confident that, if given sufficient and the right dose of this cure our society will heal itself of all evils.
Wish you all the best to create a new society where there is Love, Peace and Joy.
God bless us all!
I have just completed one year at St. Joseph's school, Nandanagar. Looking back, it has been a wonderful
year! "My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Saviour.”I thank the Lord for all the
blessings of last year.
As I came in covid and its fear was still around. Thank God covid has disappeared and we are able to live
without lockdowns and other restrictions. Meeting with the staff, interacting with the parents and
others and above all mingling with the students has been an enriching experience for me.
In the light of the observations and experiences of the last one year we have made many changes in the
administration and added many facilities for the students, staff and parents.
We sincerely hope that these reforms and renovations will bring in the desired results.
I sincerely thank the Principal, the Headmistress, and the Pre-primary In charge, all the teachers, office
staff and other supporting staff for the commendable team work. I invoke God's blessings upon all. I
thank the parents for entrusting their children to our care. We shall do everything necessary to make
your dreams come true and their future shine.
Looking ahead I am excited about the new academic year! I wish all the best to the students and to everyone. My special best wishes and blessings to all the students who are going forward after their studies at St. Joseph's School. May God bless you all!

The roots of education are bitter, but the fruit is sweet- Aristotle
Education for the future
Adults look upon a child as something empty that is to be filled through their own effort, as something inert and helpless for which they must do everything, as something lacking an inner guide and in constant need of inner direction.
An adult acts in this way, even though he may be convinced, that he is filled with zeal, love and a spirit of sacrifice on behalf of his child, unconsciously suppresses the development of the child’s own personality.
Success does not come in the flash of a second. One has to go step by step and patiently follow the norms. A double step may lead you ahead but at the same time you miss the intermediate bliss. For long lasting success one has to move according to the system.
It is true we cannot make a genius. We can only give each child the chance to fulfill his or her potential possibilities to become an independent, secured and balanced human being.
So let us sow the best values in ourselves and reap the yield of an accomplished target and be true citizens of incredible India.
